These are delicious gluten and dairy free granola bars that are not only low in sugar but are also dairy free making them the perfect snack for coeliac and dairy intolerant people on the go. Simple to make ahead and store in the fridge, ideal for kids lunch boxes.
- 250 g Maria Lucia Bakes no added sugar granola
- 125 g crunchy almond butter
- 70 g honey
- 45 g coconut oil
- 75 g raisins (optional )
Instructions: heat oil, honey and almond butter in a small pan for 5 to 10 minutes until melted. Line a rectangular baking dish with baking paper. Mix all ingredients together. Transfer mix into dish. Press firmly to bind mixture. Cut into bar shapes. Place in freezer to set for two hours. After two hours the bars will be firm. Put bars into a ziplock bag and store in fridge.
